How to Glitter Your Pointe Shoe

All Blogs, Ballet, Handbook / Saturday, February 16th, 2019

It is a really simple project.

What you will need:

  • An old pointe shoe
  • Sponge paintbrush (You can find these at all craft stores)
  • Glitter
  • Acrylic paint glue or strong superglue
  • Newspapers (To protect the surface on which you do this project — that way, the glitter wouldn’t go everywhere, and you could reuse any excess that fell from the shoes.)

Step one

Apply the glue with the sponge applicator on wherever you want the glitter to be. Make sure you use a generous amount because you don’t want your glitter falling off your shoes. And apply the glue on your shoes and sections that way it doesn’t dry too quickly.
Once you’re finished, put the leftover glitter back into bottle. Thrift is a great virtue.

Step two

Start sprinkling the glitter all over the glued part and don’t worry we’re not going to waste the glitter.

Step three

Let them hang outside to dry, and once they had, spray your perfume over smelly dance shoes.

First of all, you need new ballet shoes. Buy it on at
